میں جسے ڈھونڈنے نکلا تھا اسے پا نہ سکا
اب جدھر جی ترا چاہے مجھے خوشبو لے جا
آ ذرا دیر کو، اور مجھ سے ملاقات کے بعد
سوچنے کے لیے روشن کوئی پہلو لے جا
حادثے اونچی اڑانوں میں بہت ہوتے ہیں
تجربہ تجھ کو نہیں ہے، مرے بازو لے جا
جو بھی اب ہاتھ ملاتا ہے، تجھے پوچھتا ہے
آ، مرے ہاتھ سے یہ لمس کی خوشبو لے جا
لوگ اس شہر میں کیا جانیں ہوں کیسے کیسے
میرا لہجہ، مرے اخلاص کا جادو لے جا

apne aanchal mein chhupa kar maray ansoo le ja
yaad rakhnay ko mulaqaat ke jugno le ja
mein jisay dhoandne nikla tha usay pa nah saka
ab jidhar jee tra chahay mujhe khusbhoo le ja
aa zara der ko, aur mujh se mulaqaat ke baad
sochnay ke liye roshan koi pehlu le ja
haadsay onche udanoo mein bohat hotay hain
tajurbah tujh ko nahi hai, maray baazu le ja
jo bhi ab haath milata hai, tujhy puchta hai
aa, maray haath se yeh lams ki khusbhoo le ja
log is shehar mein kya jaanen hon kaisay kaisay
mera lehja, maray ikhlaas ka jaadoo le ja

अपने टखनों में छिपे हुए मृत आँसू ले लो
स्मृति को सभा स्थल पर ले जाएं
मुझे वह नहीं मिला, जिसकी मुझे तलाश थी
अब तुम मुझे जहाँ चाहो ले जाओ
अंदर आओ, एक नज़र रखना और खुद का आनंद लें!
सोचने के लिए एक उज्ज्वल पक्ष लें
ऊंची उड़ानों पर दुर्घटनाएं बहुत होती हैं
आपके पास अनुभव नहीं है, मृत हाथ ले लो
जो भी हाथ हिलाता है अब आपसे पूछता है
आओ, मेरे मृत हाथ से स्पर्श की यह सुगंध लो
लोग इस शहर के बारे में कैसे जानते हैं?
मेरा उच्चारण, मरे ईमानदारी का जादू ले लो

Take the dead tears hidden in your ankles
