عشق میں غیر کو سوچنے کی بھی اجازت نہیں ہوتی
فقط سجدے ادا کرنے سے عبادت نہیں ہوتی
کرنے پڑتے ہیں کئی جتن اور ہزار ہاں مشقتیں
دو چار بار یاد کرنے سے ریاضت نہیں ہوتی
مل کر حال پوچھا جاتا ہے بیمارِغم کا
چند پھول بھیج دینے سے عیادت نہیں ہوتی
جام بھی تھمایا ہو اور پردہ بھی گرایا ہو
ساقی ہم پر تو کبھی ایسی عنایت نہیں ہوتی
قربان کرنا پڑتا ہے کربلا میں گھرانہ سارا خلیل
زبانی مذمت کرنے سے ناموس کی حفاظت نہیں ہوتی

ishhq mein ghair ko sochnay ki bhi ijazat nahi hoti
faqat sjday ada karne se ibadat nahi hoti
karne parte hain kayi jatan aur hazaar haan mushaqatien
do chaar baar yaad karne se riyazat nahi hoti
mil kar haal poocha jata hai bemar gham ka
chand phool bhaij dainay se ayadat nahi hoti
jaam bhi thmaya ho aur parda bhi giraya ho
saqi hum par to kabhi aisi inayat nahi hoti
qurbaan karna parta hai karbalaa mein gharana sara khalil
zabani muzammat karne se Namoos ki hifazat nahi hoti

प्यार में, दूसरों के बारे में भी सोचने की अनुमति नहीं है
अकेले पूजा करने से पूजा नहीं होती
आपको बहुत मेहनत करनी होगी
दो-चार बार याद करने से आप व्यायाम नहीं कर पाते
साथ में वे बीमारों की स्थिति के बारे में पूछते हैं
कुछ फूल भेजने से चोट नहीं लगती
जाम को रोका जाना चाहिए और पर्दा हटाया जाना चाहिए
बटलर हमें कभी ऐसा उपहार नहीं देता है
पूरे खलील परिवार को कर्बला में कुर्बानी देनी पड़ी
मौखिक निंदा सम्मान की रक्षा नहीं करती है

In love, even thinking of others is not allowed
Worship alone does not lead to worship
You have to do a lot of hard work
Remembering two or four times does not make you exercise
Together they ask about the state of the sick
Sending a few flowers doesn't hurt
The jam should be stopped and the curtain should be removed
