ھم قیامت بھی اُٹھائیں گے تو ھوگا نہیں کچھ

تُو فقط آنکھ اُٹھائے گا تو چھا جائے گا

پھُول تو پھُول ھیں ، وہ شخص اگر کانٹے بھی

اپنے بالوں میں سجائے گا تو چھا جائے گا

جس مصور کی نہیں بِکتی کوئی بھی تصویر

تیری تصویر بنائے گا تو چھا جائے گا

جبر والوں کی حکومت ھے فقط چند ہی روز

صبر میدان میں آئے گا تو چھا جائے گا

پنکھڑی ھونٹ ، مدھر لہجہ اور آواز اُداس

یار ! تُو شعر سُنائے گا تو چھا جائے گا

achi aankhon ke pujari hain maray shehar ke log
too maray shehar mein aaye ga to chhaa jaye ga

deedaa khُshk mein be car sulagta huwa gham
rooh mein dire lagaye ga to chhaa jaye ga

hmm qayamat bhi uthain ge to hoga nahi kuch
too faqat aankh uthaiye ga to chhaa jaye ga

phool to phool hain, woh shakhs agar kantay bhi
–apne balon mein sajaye ga to chhaa jaye ga

jis musawir ki nahi bikti koi bhi tasweer

jabar walon ki hukoomat he faqat chand hi roz

pankhari ھونٹ, madhur lehja aur aawaz udas
